Ready-to-use milling additives
The type and number of mill additives that are used in a formulation greatly depends on the enameling process and the substrate to be enameled. Prince offers mill additives in small bags, ready for use in our customers’ milling rooms.
Prince’s milling additives include:
- clays and similar substances
- setting agents such as borax, boric acid, and carbonates
- refractory additions such as quartz, feldspar, zircon, and sand
- opacifiers such as titanium dioxide, zinc oxide and cerium dioxide, in combination with pigments and color oxides
