Prince offers an array of SureStart® ladle sands based on ladle size, mill conditions, hold time, temperature, and other specific process variables for steel ladles. We have a focused approach to each customer’s needs. Our technical service team works individually with each mill to determine which engineered product is best to provide optimal performance.

FURNACE SANDS
Prince’s line of SureStart® furnace sands are engineered refractory blends that optimize free opening of the EAF EBT tap hole. Prince offers various modifications, including off-the-shelf products specially designed for varying process parameters and customer specific formulations of these high-performance sands to help improve process efficiency and offer excellent performance rates.
