Manganese is increasingly used in the manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries as one of the key components of cathodes to power devices such as power tools or e-bikes and is increasingly used in energy storage systems. Prince’s EMD products are well suited for cathode mix as well as energy management for portable, solar, and wind power and green vehicles (from hybrids to full electric).
Prince has developed innovative, high purity products (including physically and chemically consistent manganese salts and oxides) to suit these markets. Products include MnSO4 HP, a high purity sulfate for Li NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) and a new range of Mn3O4 LF and LB to produce LMO (Lithium Manganese Oxide) cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) is a promising cathode technology with high usage expectations due to its high performance, safety, and calendar life. It is already being used in electric vehicles. Prince provides manganese salts, critical to the NMC cathode performance.
